　"どちりな・きりしたん"（あるいは "どちりいな・きりしたん"）とは、カトリックの教理書のこと。16世紀末に西洋から持ち込まれた活版印刷機によって摺られたキリシタン版の一種である。現在、世界にはローマ字本2種、国字本2種の4種類が存在することが分かっている。本作品は、1600年に長崎で出版された国字本の一冊（カサナテンセ図書館所蔵）をモチーフとした。本書は、連綿体の平仮名で表記されたキリシタン版のなかでも珍しいもの。表紙および最終章の5ページを取り上げて摺り重ねた。

　"Dochiriina Kirishitan" (or "Dochiriina Kirishitan") is a Catholic doctrine books. In the world, there are four types of  "Dochiriina Kirishitan" printed by letterpress printing machines brought to Japan from the Europe at the end of the 16th century.

　This my art work is based on one of the "Dochiriina Kirishitan" published in Nagasaki in 1600（Collected in the Casanatense Library.）. The text is written in Japanese using calligraphy the unbroken line (it's called Renmen-tai). For my art works I used excerpts from the book cover and five pages of the final chapter and printed them hundreds of times by my hand.
